Plot summary
Two low-level financial employees at a New York City insurance company, Larry Wilson and Richard Parker, go over actuarial reports and spot repeated payouts filed against a single death. They take the finding to chief executive Bernie Lomax, who commends them for uncovering the fraud and asks them to spend the Labor Day weekend at his house in The Hamptons. They arrive to find Bernie dead. Guests begin turning up for the party Bernie hosts every weekend, and nobody notices that the host is a corpse. Fearing suspicion, Larry and Richard keep up the pretense that Bernie is alive and puppet his body through the weekend.
