Plot summary
At the vaquejadas, rodeos staged across northeastern Brazil, men on horseback pull a bull down by its tail. Iremar is the vaqueiro who feeds and prepares the bulls for a traveling group that hauls them from show to show, and the truck is where he lives. He shares it with Galega, who drives it and dances for men after each rodeo; her daughter Cacá; and Zé, who works the bull pen. Still, his mind is on pattern cutting, sequins and fine fabric, and on the sexy designs he assembles in his head. He also makes provocative outfits for Galega and horse masks.

Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Neon Bull (2015)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Juliano Cazarré assumed a prosthesis would be used for the scene in which he had to manually stimulate a horse, and refused to continue unless director Gabriel Mascaro did the same first; in the end both men performed the act.
- The genuineness of Juliano Cazarré's sex scene with Samya De Lavor, who was really eight months pregnant, is disputed: Gabriel Mascaro asked Cazarré for an erection, Cazarré said the sex was simulated, and Mascaro admitted the result was "very persuasive" and done in one take.
- Director Gabriel Mascaro said that all the sounds in the film were recreated in the post-production stage rather than being captured during the shoot.
