Plot summary
In France in 1963, Natacha has wanted to be an air hostess since she was a child, and she admires the women who fly around the world free of husbands and housework. For her the job means freedom and adventure, far from the home a woman of the era is expected to keep. She works hard toward it, yet she does not match the image of the walking fantasy the airlines expect an air hostess to project, and whatever it is the role calls for, she has not got it. As the dream comes close to coming true, she is pulled against her will into an adventure on the track of a gang behind the theft of the Mona Lisa.
