Plot summary
Dondi is a nerd whose aunt, Corazon Talatala, called Cora, makes his decisions for him. Cora owns Party People, an events management company. Vito Carillo, a widower, owns a rival events management company, Carousel Inc. His daughter Anna is a stubborn and rebellious young woman, and she seeks her father's attention. Cora and Vito are bitter business competitors. When Dondi and Anna cross paths, their contrasting personalities collide, and the older pair's rivalry puts them on opposite sides. Neither Cora nor Vito approves of a romance between Vito's daughter and Cora's nephew, and both want to keep the two young people apart.
