Plot summary
Marcus Hanson, a Thai actor who headlines romantic comedies, learns that his real-life girlfriend, who plays his partner on screen, has fallen for another man. To get away from the press and its questions about his work and his love life, he takes a vacation in the Philippines. There he crosses paths with Joey Hermosa, a baker of wedding cakes who is trying to move on after being left at the altar. Marcus admires her devotion to baking, and the time he spends with her revives his own love of acting. He asks her to come to Thailand with him. Joey refuses at first, then follows him to Bangkok, where his fans want him back with his former girlfriend, his mother watches over him closely, and her duties at home pull at the two of them.
