My Amityville Horror (2012) on Netflix

Plot summary

Daniel Lutz was ten in 1975 when his parents, George and Kathleen Lutz, moved the family into a house on 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville. The family left the house, and the account of what happened there became a best-selling novel, a film and a run of sequels and remakes. Thirty-five years later, Daniel gives his version of the haunting, describing what it was like to grow up inside a story much of the world knows. The documentary draws on years of independent research into the case. It places his account alongside past investigative reporters, a journalist, parapsychologists and psychologists.
