Plot summary
In near-future New York City, Z, a genetic scientist and chairman of Inteltrax, takes a small army of cyborgs built for hazardous work and alters them to kill humans for pleasure. He plans to use the cyborgs for his own gain. Z holds their inventor, Dr. Paul Haynes, prisoner. Darla Haynes, the inventor's sister, seeks help from Matt Riker, a bounty hunter skilled in weapons and combat. Riker chases the mutant cyborgs to stop their killing.

- Tim Kincaid met Charles Band at the American Film Market while trying to sell his independently produced film Bad Girls Dormitory. Band passed on that film but told Kincaid to show him future projects, and later acquired both Mutant Hunt and Rapists from Outer Space, which became Breeders, to be shot back-to-back.
