  • Muddy is the first Indian film based on off-road mud racing (4×4), starring newcomers Yuvan Krishna, Ridhaan Krishna and Anusha Suresh, with Hareesh Peradi, footballer I. M. Vijayan and Renji Panicker in support.
  • Director Pragabhal and his team spent five years making Muddy, and the principal actors trained in real mud racing for two years, performing the risky stunts themselves with no dupe artists.
  • Because mud racing was new to Indian cinema, the mud racing and stunt shots were filmed practically, in real mud, with no computer technology used to create them.
