Plot summary

Dr. Jennifer Kessler works at a hospital where patients begin dying unexpectedly, one and then dozens, with nothing to explain it. She is a scientist, and she has found a hidden link that could save countless lives. A killer holds that same information and uses it to play God. That leaves Kessler as the only obstacle to a medical disaster that would reach millions. She searches for the truth behind the deaths, and the search carries her through a world of intrigue and passion and into secret medical research.
