Plot summary
In 1950s Iowa, Mary Weatherford kills her sister Elizabeth before a mirror. Decades later, Megan Gordon and her recently widowed mother Susan leave Los Angeles for a small town, and Megan finds an antique mirror in the corner of her new bedroom. Emelin, the auctioneer handling the house clearance, discovers journals about a demonic force said to possess the mirror and grant wishes. At school, Megan's classmates taunt her, except for Nikki and the athletic Ron, while Charleen, a rival candidate for class president against Nikki, targets her. Strange incidents trouble the house as Megan grows more drawn to the mirror.
