Plot summary
Tae-yoon works as an engineer and has set himself a goal: a train station for the village where he lives, a remote place in North Gyeongsang Province that the railway crosses without any stop. His son Joon-kyeong is a high school student with a gift for mathematics. The family has no road, and the villagers who commute must walk along the tracks. Resolved to change that, Joon-kyeong writes letter after letter to the President asking for a station, and no answer comes. Ra-hee, who has a crush on him, looks for ways to help him reach the President. His older sister Bo-kyeong and the neighbors throw in with them as well, working toward a small station that the village would own itself, the first of its kind.
