Plot summary
Helen Barton is blind, and her husband Morely is a former naval officer. With Jeff and Alexa Schubb, the couple boards a boat for a trip that is meant to be a pleasure cruise. It becomes a treasure hunt instead. Somewhere on a small island between Florida and Cuba, a million dollars is said to lie buried, and all four decide to go after it. Natives and pirates put their lives in danger, and greed spreads through the group itself.
