Plot summary
Melania Trump gives her own account of the twenty days before her husband's second inauguration. She says the film is meant to show the American people her life. At Trump Tower she meets her fashion designer, and she discusses the family's move into the White House with an interior decorator. She travels to Washington for Jimmy Carter's state funeral, then returns to New York to light a candle for her mother, Amalija Knavs, at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

- Amazon won the rights to Melania with a $40 million bid that beat Disney, Netflix and Paramount Pictures, the highest price ever paid for a commissioned documentary, and the deal also included a theatrical release and a follow-up docuseries.
