Plot summary
Miki Koishikawa's parents and Yuu Matsuura's parents are two couples who divorce and then marry into each other's families, so that each set of spouses ends up with a new partner from the other household. The arrangements bring paperwork, formalities, shared meals and meetings that keep both families busy. Miki and Yuu, still in school, are bystanders to the reshuffling at first, watching their parents sort out the new shape of things. Then the two of them find themselves looking at each other differently, and a crush grows between the boy and the girl whose parents have become one another's spouses.
