Plot summary

Brian Simmons practices law and has never been introduced to Zavier, the man his daughter Tiffany intends to marry. Debrah, Tiffany's mother, and her brother BJ already know him, and Debrah welcomes the match. Brian judges Zavier immature and a poor influence, so he brings the matter to his aunt Madea and to Joe. The couple then reveals that the ceremony will take place at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas, and Brian, unwilling to appear stingy, agrees to cover the trip and the wedding. Madea, Cora, Mr. Brown and Joe must obtain passports first, and Madea, wary of leaving the country, goes through the process anyway. At the resort, Madea confides to Cora that Debrah's behavior bothers her, and while the family views the wedding dress she asks whether Tiffany is being pushed into the marriage.
