Plot summary
Henrik is married to Sophia, and the two of them run a company together. He is also the lover of Lulu, a younger woman who owns a gallery and counts him among her clients. Henrik invites Lulu to his house in France, a trip intended for the two of them alone apart from a few work engagements. Their stay is interrupted when David, Henrik's son with Sophia, arrives at the house without warning to get ready for exams at his boarding school. David treats Lulu with spite and longs for his father's recognition, and he chooses to stay. Henrik does not tell him to go when Lulu asks. Lulu and David end up competing for the same man's love.
