Plot summary
Elena is thirty-five, works for a publishing house, and has an unhealthy obsession with perfection. Her long relationship with Marco, a freelance photographer, ended after she found him flirting with a man at a restaurant, and she has lived as a single woman since. A minor accident on a scooter then brings two new people into her life. Adriana is a seductive eighteen-year-old whose unpredictability offers excitement and passion, and Ettore is an older man whose calm offers stability and security. Torn between the excitement Adriana offers and the security she finds with Ettore, Elena begins a relationship with each in pursuit of love.
