Plot summary

Gilda Radner's life and career are told through her diaries, her audio tapes and her home movies, which give her own account of herself, and through interviews with people who were close to her. Archive footage of Radner also appears. She was a comic and actress, an icon of Saturday Night Live. The documentary also takes up the insecurities she carried, including an eating disorder, and how hard she found it to be heard in a profession that was not often welcoming to women.
