Plot summary
Louis Theroux keeps company with the creators who have built followings online by telling young men how to date, how to succeed and how to raise their status. He spends time with them at their events. Many promote male dominance and criticize feminism, and they cast themselves as mentors. He examines where the money comes from: provocative statements spread quickly, and the audiences they attract are offered courses, memberships, coaching and lifestyle brands. He also asks why the message lands with young men who are unsure about their identity, their success or their relationships, and how the platforms themselves push such content outward.

- When Louis Theroux approached the influencer Andrew Tate about taking part in the documentary, Tate dismissed him with: "I'm the most relevant man on the planet. And who are you? You were relevant years ago?"
- Tate answered Theroux with a Google Trends screenshot comparing their search interest over time. Theroux's interest was "down near death" while Tate's ran "quite high all the way along", until at the very end of the graph Theroux's picked up and overtook his, a point Tate did not respond to.
- Theroux had already covered manosphere content in 2022, interviewing the right-wing influencers Baked Alaska and Nick Fuentes. He said he was drawn to Inside the Manosphere by the challenge of filming subjects who were recording him in turn and turning his crew's presence into content.
