Plot summary
The second edition of the documentary sets out to rebut the official account of the September 11, 2001 attacks and the findings of the 9/11 Commission Report. It reviews what the public was told: that jetliners struck the twin towers and that burning jet fuel brought them down, that the Pentagon was struck by a Boeing 757, that Flight 93 came down at Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and that the operation was carried out on the orders of Osama Bin Laden by nineteen men from abroad. Against that account the film presents the evidence it says establishes that the accepted version of the attacks is false, and that the government of the United States was itself behind them.
