Plot summary
Julia Zárate is twenty-five and a university student in Buenos Aires. She wakes in her apartment to find blood everywhere and her lover Nahuel stabbed. Ramiro, who was also her lover, is alive and covered with blood. Pregnant and with no criminal record, she is sent to await trial in a special wing of a Buenos Aires prison that holds mothers and pregnant inmates. There Marta, a fellow prisoner with two children, helps her understand life in the wing.
