Plot summary
Buenos Aires in the early 1980s. In San Isidro, an affluent suburb, the Puccios keep up the appearance of a settled family: Arquímedes the patriarch, his wife Epifanía, their sons Alejandro, Daniel, known as Maguila, and Guillermo, and their daughters Silvia and Adriana. When the Falklands War ends in 1982, Arquímedes, once an operative in state intelligence, looks for another source of income. He organizes the kidnapping of wealthy people, holding them hostage until a ransom is paid, and Alejandro, a rugby player with a wide circle of friends, points him toward possible victims. The first target is Ricardo Manoukian, a teammate of Alejandro's.
