Plot summary
To escape a group of dangerous criminals, Angèle becomes a nanny in an uptown Paris household, hired by Hélène, a single mother raising eight-year-old Arthur. Angèle, in her thirties and from Ivory Coast, gets by on her gift of gab and her nerve. She discovers the working conditions of the other nannies and decides to stand up for their rights, helped by a young lawyer who falls for her.
