Plot summary
On Krypton, Alura Zor-El heeds Jor-El's warning that the planet will be destroyed and launches her daughter Kara toward Earth, where Kal-El is also to arrive. Debris from the planet's destruction strikes Kara's pod and leaves her in suspended animation, so she lands later than intended. Kara, now called Supergirl, struggles to adjust to life on Earth. Her cousin Kal-El, known as Superman, suggests she leave their space-time and train at the Legion Academy in the 31st century, where she meets Mon-El and fights Brainiac 5, mistaking him for her cousin's enemy.
