Plot summary
The story comes from real events in New Orleans. A brawl erupts in a bar that stays open around the clock and doubles as a laundromat and a nightclub. The four people in it are local hustlers: a musician who is self-destructive, a bartender who is corrupt, a street performer with no home, and the least competent drug dealer in the city. Each one's day leading up to the fight is told again in turn, from that person's own side.
