Plot summary
After Nerio Winch dies, his adopted son Largo takes over the W Group, and he surprises his advisers by announcing that he will sell the company and put the money into a humanitarian foundation. He brings in Alexandre Jung, his father's partner and a former Red Cross director, and Dwight Cochrane, who runs the group. A Hong Kong police unit led by the UN investigator Diane Francken boards Nerio's yacht as the sale papers are signed. Francken accuses Largo of crimes against humanity, saying a massacre in Burma was financed from a secret account of Nerio's known as Pandora. She also says she has a witness. Largo, who finds out the account holds 68 million dollars, decides to fly to Bangkok against the advice of his lawyers and Cochrane.
