Plot summary
Eric and Ramzy work as window washers on the Montparnasse tower in Paris. Eric believes that Marie-Joëlle, an executive in the building, has agreed to a date with him, so he hangs around the tower after hours and Ramzy stays with him. What she feels for him is nothing like interest, and Eric does not know that. A gang of terrorists then seizes the tower, taking the occupants who are still inside hostage. Marie-Joëlle is among them. The two window washers witness the takeover, and since no one else is free to act, the rescue of the hostages falls to them.
