Plot summary
Chiara and her husband Antoine are fisher-folk on an Atlantic island, the place where he grew up. She has worked with him for twenty years, doing the hard fishing job he taught her, and the two are a happy and loving couple. A raging storm brings them a young apprentice, Maxence.
