Plot summary
Högboträsk is a small Swedish village where nothing much happens. Benny, a police officer, models himself on American cop films and hopes for shootouts with criminals, though his days with Jacob and Lasse are filled with coffee, hot dogs and stray cows. The officers like the quiet, but it gives the police management board a reason to shut their station down, and with it their income. A suspected act of vandalism suggests a way out: if the town can be made to look dangerous, the station may be worth keeping. The officers stage crimes of their own and cast their friends in the parts.
