King of the Jungle (1933) on Netflix

Plot summary

A husband and wife take their three-year-old son to Kenya to photograph wild animals. Lions kill the parents, and the boy is raised by the same pride, growing into a man who fights beside the lions against natives, a rancher and a trafficker in animals. He helps the lions raid the rancher's cattle, and the men capture him and several lions. Neil Forbes buys them, calls the man Kaspa the Lion Man and ships the caged animals to America, where a circus exhibits them. When officials order his release, Kaspa jumps overboard, swims ashore and slips into a house where Ann Rogers and her roommate Sue live. Sue, alarmed, calls the police, and Kaspa lets himself be taken back to Forbes, who hires Ann to keep him quiet and show him how to live among people.
