Plot summary
Shinji and Masaru are classmates who spend their school days bullying other students, stealing their money and setting a teacher's car alight. When some of the boys they have picked on pay a boxer to rough Masaru up, Masaru wants payback. He brings Shinji, a quiet friend, to a boxing gym. The trainers are startled to find that Shinji has a natural talent for the sport, and he beats Masaru easily in a sparring session. Masaru tells his friend to stick with it and gives up boxing himself, while Shinji trains. Masaru joins a local yakuza gang, and the two friends set out on separate paths.
