Plot summary

Minami, a junior member of the Azamawari yakuza clan, holds his senior Ozaki in high regard, since Ozaki once saved his life. Lately Ozaki's behavior has grown erratic: he claims a chihuahua he sees is a yakuza attack dog and kills it outside a restaurant. Chairman Azamawari orders Minami to drive Ozaki to a disposal depot in Nagoya and kill him. On the road, Minami pushes Ozaki down while trying to stop him from attacking a woman he takes for an assassin, and Ozaki dies. Minutes later the body is gone. Searching the run-down outskirts of Nagoya, Minami meets evasive locals and checks into an isolated hotel where the desk clerks and the whole place strike him as wrong.
