Plot summary

Rohit sings and works at a car showroom, and he and his younger brother Amit share a home. The two grew up without parents, looked after by their neighbors Lily and Anthony. At the showroom Rohit meets Sonia, whose father Mr. Saxena owns a large industrial concern, and the two become friends in spite of the gap in their backgrounds. Sonia's friend Atul arranges a cruise, and Sonia is stung when other girls crowd around Rohit. A quarrel while drinking leaves the pair adrift in a lifeboat, and they come ashore on a deserted island, where Rohit treats their situation more seriously than Sonia does. Sonia pretends, as a joke, to be drowning, and Rohit leaps in after her even though he cannot swim.
