Plot summary
For Laurent, a student of 23, the arrangement with Carole works. They share an apartment as friends, and his family believes the two of them are a couple, which keeps questions about his private life away. Then he meets Cédric, a plant scientist, and falls in love with him. Cédric is at ease with being gay and introduces Laurent to his mother, Emma, who accepts her son's boyfriend. Laurent has said nothing to his conservative parents, Jeanne and Pierre, afraid of how they would take the news. Cédric will not live a lie and wants the relationship out in the open.
