Plot summary
Zach Wells is a filmmaker whose career never took off. His friend Topher Shadoe, a hotshot director, asks Zach to take his place as a judge at the annual Keystone Film Festival, held at Keystone Summit University, Zach's alma mater. Zach is reluctant to go, because the festival changed his life for the worse: he won it fifteen years earlier, and that win led him to quit college and head for Hollywood, where his career went nowhere. The night before the judging, Zach visits a gay bar, meets a younger man there, and the two have sex in his room.
