Plot summary
Kundhavi Chidambaram is a lawyer in New York City and once dated Joshua, who now works for a private security agency in Chennai. The agency gives him the task of keeping her safe. She sat on a prosecution team that was to testify against Leguiziamo, known as El Chapo, the head of a Mexican drug cartel. He put a price on the members of the team and had them attacked; Kundhavi came through it. As the attorney set on bringing him to justice, she becomes his target once more, and he turns to men in the city, among them Don Shiva and Koti.

- Before Varun took the title role in Gautham Vasudev Menon's film, Suriya was considered for the lead but declined: Menon said Suriya found the script too similar to that of his other film Kaappaan (2019).
