At eighteen, Lorenzo, who is known as Ghandi, and Elena met during a trip through Nevada and married in Las Vegas. Hours later each of them went their own way, and Elena believed the matter was settled. Twenty years on she is set to marry a wealthy, brilliant man. Sara, her closest friend, works as a lawyer and tells Elena that she remains legally married to Lorenzo, so that first marriage has to be ended before she can marry again, or she could be accused of bigamy.
