Plot summary

A riding accident years ago left Felipe quadriplegic, and the wealthy businessman now needs an assistant who will remain with him around the clock and attend to his daily needs. None of the qualified applicants persuade him. Tito, who helps the gardener Orlando, has quit after a quarrel with him, and he comes to Felipe to claim his severance pay. Felipe, surprised, asks him to return the following day. Tito goes home to his mother, his sister Romina and his younger brother Javi; fed up with his behavior, his mother throws him out. The next day at the mansion, the housekeeper Ivonne gives him a tour, and Felipe offers him the job at five times Orlando's wages, betting he will not last two weeks. Tito accepts and moves in.
