Plot summary
Shane, a young gunslinger, comes home to settle what he tried to forget. His mother, his father and his little sister were murdered for the family's land, an old mine his father had worked for years with little result before he finally struck a vein. The men who wanted that mine for themselves are still out there. Revenge has been the one purpose of Shane's life, and he carries a gun for them. He meets Georgiana Bennett, a widow, and her son Christian, and the meeting leaves him facing a question: whether the anger he lives by is the wrong path.
