Plot summary
Arjun Sen, an Indian marketing professional settled in the USA, has been through twenty surgeries since laryngeal cancer, and the disease has spread to his colon and stomach. He and his wife divorce, and they go on co-parenting their daughter Reya. Arjun moves between their home and the hospital, and he does not tell Reya much about what the treatments involve, which leaves a distance between father and daughter. At the hospital he has his nurse Nancy and Dr. Jayanta Deb around him. His diagnosis costs him his marketing job, and he keeps a deadpan sense of humor about his situation.
