Plot summary
Layne Price has had a successful career as a music star, but she has hit a creative roadblock that she cannot overcome. Taking the words of a fortune-teller as a sign that she should revisit her roots, she heads back to her own hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, for the New Year's Eve holiday, hoping the trip will break her writer's block. Cassie Holmes, Layne's best friend, has decided to use the holiday to confess her love to her. Layne, though, is more interested in tracking down one of her exes, and the two of them search for that ex together around Nashville.
