Plot summary
A village in Västergötland, Sweden, is home to an aging recluse who lives in a mansion on a large wooded property. He is killed in an accident, and the estate passes to Fanny Zander, a relative of his whom nobody in the village has heard of. She rides in on a big black motorcycle with her boyfriend Zac, and the two of them decide to stay. Their arrival turns the staid village upside down, and the plans of Axel Flogfält to buy the property are upset.
