Plot summary
Four young people from London leave the city and move into an English cottage together. Max, Charlotte, Leah and Jack want to challenge social conventions and to test their own tolerances, so they agree to swap partners on a schedule. The household runs on that rule, and the four of them treat their shared life as radical. An outsider then comes to the cottage. This visitor does not get in tune with them or with what they are doing. The four have to see whether their arrangement holds with a person among them who does not share it.
