Plot summary
One night at Camp Pineway, the camp's owners, John and Kathy, are killed by someone wearing a devil mask. The next day, counselors arrive a day early to prepare the grounds, and 24-year-old Jason Hochberg, a longtime admirer of the camp, returns for another summer. A note about an emergency between John and Kathy puts him in temporary charge. He hopes to fit in, but his teenage co-workers keep pointing out his age, and he struggles to connect with them, including his friend Claire, who has a crush on him. Noelle, another counselor, is preoccupied with spirits and the occult.
