Plot summary
The Ten Villains number the Twin Demons among their members. Those two rob disaster relief funds, and the theft leaves many civilians dead. Yaoyue leads the wulin, and she sets out to wipe out the band. Her husband Yan Nantian stands in her way, holding that the others in it did nothing wrong. The disagreement turns into a fight between the couple. Yan Nantian ends up paralyzed, and Yaoyue departs. Their son Xiaoyuer survives and is raised mostly by two of the Villains. Yaoyue later takes in a girl named Hua Wuque, brings her up as a boy, and trains her to be the next leader of the wulin. Eighteen years on, Xiaoyuer travels with his foster parents to a martial arts contest.
