Guyver: Dark Hero (1994) on Netflix

Plot summary

Sean Barker bonded with the Guyver unit a year ago and destroyed the Cronos Corporation, the company behind the Guyver and the creatures called Zoanoids. He now uses the armor to fight crime, but the unit's drive to kill has left him emotionally exhausted. Images of cave drawings found in the Utah mountains keep appearing in his dreams, so he travels to the archaeological dig there and meets Cori Edwards, the daughter of Marcus Edwards, the site's lead archaeologist. At the camp, a skull that looks like the Zoanoid Lisker's draws his attention, and that night a Zoanoid named Volker, who has been attacking the dig, fights him. Commander Atkins, suspicious of Sean, tells him the Los Angeles branch of Cronos was not the only one.
