Plot summary
In 1873, a few years after the Civil War, the outlaw gang called The Hellhounds rides into Blind Chapel, a small town in East Texas, and attacks it. The residents are outnumbered and outgunned by the killers. Ivan Turchin, a Russian immigrant and gunslinger, arrives in the middle of the trouble. Sheriff Vernon Kelly and Marshal Austin Carter take his side against the gang, and several women of the town stand with them. With no other force able to face the Hellhounds, the people of Blind Chapel rely on Turchin and the two lawmen to keep the gang from overrunning the town.
