Plot summary
A woman's body lies in a derelict apartment in Maruyama-cho, a love hotel district in Shibuya, Tokyo. Kazuko Yoshida, a police officer, is called to investigate the case. Izumi Kikuchi is married to a famous romance novelist, and her days repeat without romance. She accepts work posing nude for a camera, then at home she keeps up the appearance of the devoted wife.
