Plot summary
In 1970s Belfast, during the Troubles, Terri Hooley is a DJ in a city split by sectarian violence. A music lover and an idealist, he opens a record shop called Good Vibrations on the most bombed half-mile in Europe. The new underground punk scene inspires him, and he galvanizes the young musicians of the city. A record label springs from the shop, representing bands including The Undertones, Rudi and The Outcasts.
