Plot summary
Laxman is a brilliant student whose studies suffer because of his friends Gopal, Madhav, and Lucky. The three were suspended from college years ago yet still share his room. Gopal supplies muscle, Madhav brains, and Lucky is mute. All four owe money to Vasooli, a criminal garage owner who keeps chasing them. Laxman gives in to pressure and joins a string of scams, and the college expels them. One night in the woods, each man tells the others about his past. Vasooli and his gang find them there. The four escape into a bungalow belonging to a blind couple, Somnath and Mangala. Gopal pretends to be Sameer, the grandson the couple expects from America, and the other three hide inside. Nirali, a girl from next door, arrives, and the friends try to charm her.
